Drive this loop counter clockwise to see the best views of the bluffs. Take U.S. Highway 67 north from Alton, through Godfrey, to Jerseyville. In Jerseyville, proceed west on State Route 16 to State Route 100, which will lead you past Pere Marquette State Park, Grafton, Elsah, and back to Alton.
