Stay in a true pioneer home on your next visit to Nauvoo. The Nauvoo Mix House was built in 1846, by one of the engineers who worked on the Nauvoo Temple. Phelps Mix and his wife Ester loved the arches on the Temple, and so used that as the inspiration for the front of their home. Today you’ll find the inside of the house filled with authentic pioneer décor and modern conveniences. The home has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and will sleep up to 8.
