St. Nicholas Landmark

111 Ferry Street, Chester IL 62233 | 618.826.7150
Southernmost Illinois

Built in 1830, on the banks of the Mississippi River, the building that now houses the brewery was known as The Landmark. Back in the day, this brick and stone building saw its share of important folks, like Samuel Clemmons and Charles Dickens. Today, the building serves as The St. Nicholas Landmark brewery, offering a full menu alongside flagship beers, like the Scotch Strong Ale/Wee-Heavy which was brewed with seven varieties of malts, and seasonal favorites.
