
Devoted to foraged beers, Scratch Brewing Company has been named "one of the top four breweries for foraged beer" by Outside Magazine, “America’s Coolest Microbrewery” by Men’s Journal, and one of the “Most Beautiful Places to Drink Beer in the World” by All About Beer. The brewery has an ever rotating selection of styles enhanced by the innovative addition of ingredients from their farm or surrounding woods, such as nettle, elderberry, ginger, dandelion, maple sap, hickory, lavender, juniper, and chanterelle mushrooms. The resulting brews are a little daring, providing a taste you can only get in southern Illinois.
