Lincoln Highway Interpretive Sites

10th Avenue, Fulton IL 61252
Blackhawk Waterways Convention and Visitors Bureau

The Lincoln Highway National Scenic Byway is home to a series of 16 gazebos and 40 interpretive murals which highlight the development of the byway and how it affected communities in Illinois. Located on 10th Avenue, between 3rd and 4th Streets, the mural shows the Fulton-Lyons toll bridge which motorists could take across the mighty Mississippi. The gazebo also mentions the Fulton-Lyons Bridge, businesses along the byway, and Fulton’s rich Dutch heritage.
