The Hampton Heritage Interpretive Center is located on the Mississippi River. Interpretive displays at the center educate visitors about the ecosystem of the Mississippi and how the river shaped the town. Large windows and a nearby viewing platform offer an excellent opportunity for eagle watching during winter months.
