Abbey's High Street Bed & Breakfast

Abbey’s High Street offers five charming guest rooms in an award winning 1850s Greek revival home. When the home was owned by Dr. Kittoe, a Civil War surgeon and friend of Ulysses S. Grant, it was known for having one of the finest gardens in Galena. Today visitors can enjoy the view of downtown Galena and the surrounding countryside in the gardens, restored using a plan outlined by Dr. Kittoe.
